The consultation is now closed.
We want to hear your ideas for the garden, and how you might contribute. This consultation is being organised by local volunteer residents who make up the Clay Farm Community Garden Group, supported by Countryside Properties Ltd and the Open Spaces team at Cambridge City Council.
The garden already has planning permission as outlined in this document. Please read it, then visit the linked pages.
We are equally happy to hear your ideas in person, for example at the Saturday morning drop-in gardening sessions throughout November or at our pre-Christmas party at the Shed from 4.30 to 7.30 on Tuesday 11th December. Wrap up warm for inside and outside activities.
As you will see, the planning consent is quite vague in some respects. This is because it expects that the garden will be developed by the community.
We already have some specific questions on these pages, but we also need your questions and answers which we haven’t already thought of:
- The building
- Garden features
- Uses of the garden
- Links to community groups
- The cycle path
