DESCRIPTION:This Sunday January 15th Community Garden will join the Trumpington Orchard annual Wassail. \n\n\n\nBring a torch\, a musical instrument or pan and stick\, fancy dress optional. Drink warm apple juice. \n\n\n\nMeet at the Orchard at 2pm. Join the singing\, dancing and toast the trees to encourage a good harvest at the Orchard and then take the short walk to the Community Garden to toast our orchard trees.

SUMMARY:Fix the lawn for summer picnics and work off any Christmas excess
DESCRIPTION:The main lawn area of the community garden\, which is used throughout the summer for events\, picnics\, recreation and enjoyment of the garden itself\, requires attention this winter so that it will be at its best in the spring. Cambridge City Council’s SOS Volunteering will be helping us remove weeds from the lawn on Saturday January 7th from 10.00 to 14.00. The more people from the community who can come along\, even if only for a short time\, the quicker the job will get done. Hand forks and buckets will be provided\, or bring your own. Hot drinks will also be available and the community building will be open. Hope to see as many of you as can make it. \n\n\n\nChat with your neighbours. Do as much or as little as your time allows.

DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss our Christmas event!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n🎅🏻 Santa is coming to town!\n\n\n\n\n\nSanta is touring Trumpington and will be passing by the Community Garden sometimes around 4pm and 5pm. \n\n\n\nDon’t be too impatient with the time\, his flight plan is really packed during the Christmas preparations! \n\n\n\nFor more details on the route and timings at other locations visit the Trumpington Meadows website. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n🔥 Bonfire\, roasted marshmallows and mulled wine!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo keep warm and entertained\, we will wait for the sleigh around a bonfire\, roasting marshmallows\, and enjoying homemade mulled wine. \n\n\n\nAll of this is free and arranged by our volunteers\, and the businesses working with us always support us greatly. Donations can also be made in cash and by card on site\, and always online on our donation page. \n\n\n\nOur loyal Emma and her Beanissimo coffee cart will also be around to serve hot drinks and keep us hydrated! \n\n\n\n\n\n📸 Christmas photography mini sessions\n\n\n\n\n\nOne of the most popular presents with families are customised greeting cards\, family calendars and other photo memories. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss the opportunity to have your professional Christmas photo session taken!
