The Garden was abuzz with activity on Thursday 27th April, when a group of volunteers from Astra Zeneca hammered, drilled, built our new furniture, created 2 striking mud kitchens from recycled materials, potted on seedlings, weeded, and mulched. Even the expected rain held off and the sun peeped out from time to time.
A big thank you to Astra Zeneca for the hard-working volunteers; their group leader; and to @Diego, @Bruce and Jane, @Jag for directing operations. All have made a positive difference to the already lovely Garden.
Why not drop by and admire their work – if you come on Thursday evenings there is the added attraction of one of our regular Garden parties with visiting Food Truck or “bring your own” picnic .
