Winter now approaches but activity in the Garden goes on.
The pond has become a bog garden, soon to be filled with plants. Please protect this new wildlife attraction.

The fence along Beyer Road is being installed and the new hedgerow will be planted at the end of November.
Come and join the Wildlife Trust young rangers to plant the hedgerow at the end of November.
A Japanese cherry has been planted, generously donated by the Sakura Cherry Tree Project – https://japanuksakura.org/

Can you find 2 more Sakura cherry trees around Clay Farm?
Please speak to a volunteer if you are able to join our regular volunteers. You will often find volunteers in the Garden on Thursday or Sunday mornings. Even a small amount of your time makes a huge difference. We don’t just garden so join other volunteers to learn more about the history of the garden, chat and drink tea together. It is a great way to meet your neighbours.
The Garden is unfunded and cared for by unpaid volunteers.
