A special invitation from Buckingham Palace to celebrate the planting of the John Ystumllyn Rose

Clay Farm Community Garden was of the gardens chosen by Harkness Roses to receive a newly created John Ystumllyn Rose, and, last week a representative was invited to take part in a planting ceremony in Buckingham Palace Garden.

A message of thanks was received from the Queen click to find out more about about John and the creation of this new rose.

As an added bonus the group was treated to a tour of the Palace of Westminster by the MP of Criccieth in the North Wales constituency where John lived.
