On Sunday we planted 2 dozen rose bushes kindly donated by Harkness Roses https://www.roses.co.uk/ as part of their roses for Community Gardens offer. Thank you to the small group of volunteers who dug, planted, and added mulch. We hope that the roses will start to bloom this year in time for our Jubilee Picnic on June 25th.
Vegetables have again been donated to the Food Hub
We have a drop in session on Sunday morning this week from around 10 am, pop in and help if you can to get the garden ready in time for the summer. Our Thursday evening picnics with food trucks kick off next Thursday 14th April 5-8pm with Pizza Passione.
