Fix the lawn for summer picnics and work off any Christmas excess

The main lawn area of the community garden, which is used throughout the summer for events, picnics, recreation and enjoyment of the garden itself, requires attention this winter so that it will be at its best in the spring. Cambridge City Council’s SOS Volunteering will be helping us remove weeds from the lawn on Saturday January 7^th from 10.00 to 14.00. The more people from the community who can come along, even if only for a short time, the quicker the job will get done. Hand forks and buckets will be provided, or bring your own. Hot drinks will also be available and the community building will be open. Hope to see as many of you as can make it.
