How does your garden grow?

Thank you to everyone who has planted, weeded, dug, and pruned in the Garden over the last few weeks, and to all of you who have donated on our website.

In September, at Big Dig 2, a support trellis for the fruit bushes was built, spring bulbs planted, and lovely wooden stepping stones placed across the beds to make it easier to hop across from the paths to the lawns.

Some of the youngest members of our community have enjoyed their birthdays with friends and families in the garden. It is lovely to see the beautiful space being enjoyed by all

.

Work on the building that will provide storage for tools, with a kitchen/tea point and a toilet is progressing gradually. Take a look at the draft layout plan for the East side of the Garden on the notice board next to Beanissimo’s regular parking spot.

On Thursday evenings Food Trucks will continue to come to the Garden – check out the latest information on our Website, WhatsApp group or on Clay Farm Food. We hope to serve you throughout October and November, but there are still a few vacant slots.

Come and join our Drop-in gardening sessions on Sunday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30. At other times when you see any of the volunteers at work in the garden stop for a chat to find out more or contact us by email, Instagram or Facebook.
