It’s cold but work never stops!

Despite the cold weather activity has continued in the Garden. Along with continued planting of the new hedging, work to install the new fence has begun. Now awaiting permission from Cadent to complete the sections over the gas main.

Thank you to the volunteer(s) who have been hedge planting. Also thank you to the Council for facilitating the construction of the fence.

Still to come the community table and seating – perhaps this will, after months (years) of delay, even arrive this year. 🤞

We’ve been very happy to offer a warm space in our building to Trumpington Orchard volunteers – they too are working through the winter to care for the trees and repair the squirrel damage to the Swift tower.

There’s always plenty to do inside and out – if you can help stop and say hello when you see volunteers at work in the Garden.
