As Summer got underway, people from the local community gathered in the garden for 3 fantastic garden party events.
First up, on Thursday 27th June, we saw the musicians from Oblique Arts group, which runs at The EDGE Café in Cambridge, play a catalogue of their own songs under the sunshine in the sky, with food truck – Guerrilla Kitchen, serving their tasty bao buns all evening.
Next came a special evening of food. Thursday 4th July, saw the return of Azahar with their scrumptious paella, all freshly cooked on site. Despite the wind, which at first was a concern, we were able to help them get setup in front of the building and the evening turned out to be a success with families sitting out on the lawn enjoying the food.
Finally, on Thursday 11th July, The amazing Collaboration Choir joined us again and performed an array of songs to a fantastic crowd. Steak & Honour were providing the food and sold out!
Thank you to all the singers, musicians, food trucks and everyone who came down to the garden to join us for these events. They have been an awesome Summer’s trio of events, of sun, music, food and community!
And as always, can we say thank you to Clay Farm Food for organising the food trucks each week.
