A special thanks to Charles Rivers volunteers for cutting, raking, strimming and wheelbarrowing the grass in the swale, and lawns in the West Garden in the blazing heat.
Sadly, our pumpkins, not yet fully grown, intended for our Halloween children’s pumpkin carving event, have been “disappearing” overnight, as have our outdoor cucumbers, despite requests not to pick. Our hard working volunteers and the local Food Hub would appreciate it if you would Please ask before you pick !
Our AGM will take place on October 16th and all who are interested in the Garden are invited to come along, find out more about us and hear about our plans for future. We promise to keep this brief!
