What we did in January.

Despite the extremes of weather, events and work in the Garden Garden continued.

On Sunday January 14th the Trumpington Orchard Wassail processed from the Orchard to the Garden where hot mulled apple juice was served

Seedy Sunday at Trumpington Pavilion saw our gardeners chatting about the Garden to visitors and giving away seeds . Thank you to everyone who joined us and donated to our funds.

Groups of volunteers from South East Rail (building the new South station) and from Cambridge Council Open Spaces spent a day helping in the Garden and clearing the overgrown pond.

Chris and John started work on gates for the vegetable beds to make it easier to maintain. A path of wood chippings will also make it easier to move from one area to the next, and plans are afoot to decide what will be grown next season.

We are still harvesting the few remaining brassicas and donating to the Trumpington Food Hub.

Garden party Food Trucks begin their visits on March 7th with Pimp My Fish. – Save the date
